Looks like Genelia has rubbed the Nadigar Sangam of Hyderabad the wrong way by not becoming a member despite several reminders. In the recently convened meeting, the Actors Council has passed resolution to ban her from acting further in Telugu movies.

She is currently acting in a Telugu movie with Rana Daggubati and if she fails to pay the required membership fee and become a member, the ban will be imposed on her. Earlier, the council sent reminders to other actors including Trisha and Tamannah.
