Slippers were hurled at Telugu super ster Chiranjeevi during a campaign, after the actor ordered the crowd to maintain silence. While campaigning for Congress, the actor’s mike stopped working and the crowd in response asked him to talk loudly. Unable to bear the constant roaring of the crowd, Chiranjeevi yelled at them to maintain silence.

Agitated by the actor’s rough behavior the crowd hurled slippers at the actor. Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy, who was also present at the spot, got few hits too. The duo had to literally run from the spot to avoid getting beaten up.
