Director Krishna, who made Sillunu Oru Kadhal, with Suriya and Jyothika in the lead is back with his next film, Nedunchalai. This is a village based story, starring Rettai Suzhi fame Aari and Shvida Nair, an M-town actress in the lead.

“This film is about a real incident I witnessed on a highway, when I was young. We have shot for 32 days and I’m very happy with the way it has come out,” claims Krishna. The director has also roped in Prashanth Narayanan, who starred in the Bollywood film Murder 2, for a negative role in the film.
