Music director PB Balaji, who is scoring the music for Sooran, got engaged to Janani at the Le Royal Meridian Hotel in Chennai on January 24^th, 2010. The cast and crew of Sooran including Karan, Keerthi Chawla and Srinivas graced the occasion which was otherwise attended only by close family and friends.

Balaji already has a Tamil film Inba to his credit and is currently associated with films like Sooran, Kasikuppam and Kathiri Veyyil. The wedding is scheduled to happen in April at Mayor Ramanathan Hall in Chennai.
