The producer of the movie Thenmerku Paruvakaatru, Captain Shibu Isaac was honored with the award of ‘Visionary Producer’ for producing a movie that bridges the gap between commercial cinema and festival cinema. This award was conferred on him by the Nirzar Film Society during their 2nd International Film Festival.The movie itself was screened in the Film Fest and is said to have got a good recognition and this has paved a way for the producer to win the award.
