Nagarpuram will be Akhil’s next film to hit the screens. The actor won accolades for his performance in Kalloori and is raring to make it big in Nagarpuram, directed by NP Sarathy. The music for this film will be scored by Ajay Anand and Arul Dev, who had apprenticed under Priyan will wield the camera.

The shooting of Nagarpuram is currently on at a residence, which is right next to Vijayakumar’s home in Alapakkam, Chennai.

Nagarpuram will mark the entry of Sri Devi in to Tamil films as the lady already has a Telugu flick to her credit.

This film is a city-based love story in which the hero plays a just-out-of-college guy looking for a job and the heroine is a college student.
