After the back to back successes of Pizza and Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom (NKPK), Vijay Sethupathy is a noted name in the industry. His acting chops and ease at both comedy and serious styles of acting have been appreciated by the viewing public.

He will be acting next in a movie titled Rummy. This is a village based love story to be directed by debutant Balakrishnan.K. Premkumar, cinematographer of movies like Sundarapandian and NKPK will do his duty for this film too.

Imman will score music, Yugabharathi will pen lyrics and Raja Mohammed will handle the editing suite. The film is set to be shot around Pudhukottai, Karaikudi and Thanjavur.

Inigo Prabhakaran of Sundarapandian and Azhagar Saamiyin Kudhirai fame will also play a prominent role in this movie.
