Vedhika, who made her debut with Madarasi and acted in films including Muni, Sakkarakatti and Malai Malai, may be Atharva’s lead pair in Eriyum Thanal. Apparently, Bala felt that she would fit in the role and decided to cast her. However, there is still no official confirmation on Bala signing up Vedhika.

It may be recalled that Amy Jackson was rumored to play the lead girl in Eriyum Thanal but the actress denied it.
