Director Shankar wanted Andrea to lend her voice for Nanban’s leading lady Ileana but there was a protest from the dubbing artistes that Andrea is not a member in their Union and therefore should not be allowed to dub.

When this was brought Shankar’s notice, who is racing against time to complete Nanban, he immediately arranged to pay the membership fee so that Andrea could go about with her work and complete the dubbing. With Shankar paying the fee, Andrea has now become a member of the Dubbing Artiste’s Union.

Looks like Nanban is to be wrapped up soon as we hear that Vijay’s portions have been shot completely. The film stars Vijay, Srikanth, Jiiva, Ileana, SJ Suryah, Raghava Lawrence and others.
