Boopathi Pandian has been hoping to get Vikram to do a film with him and he went to him with the finished script and was willing to wait till Vikram could make time for the project. But unfortunatly, his patience was not rewarded as Vikram became busy with DTM and later Rajapattai with Suseendiran and Dheeksha Seth.

All is not lost for the director as Telugu star, Gopichand who is known in Tamil as the villain in Jayam has agreed to work with Boopathy Pandian in a full - fledged Telugu film with the same script. Tamannah has been signed as the heroine. The director is very happy now and is hard at work on this project.
