Dec 20^th – Kamal fans reportedly make threat calls to producer K. Rajan, the only producer to oppose DTH. The callers are arrested.  Nearly 50 people assemble outside the Commissioner’s office in protest.

Dec 29^th – Kamal Haasan launches the DTH model in an official event along with a reputed service provider.

Jan 4^th – Devi Theatre comes forward to screen Vishwaroopam amidst other theatre owners who remain reluctant.
