>> Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan asks fans “to go outside the cinema hall and insist on screening of the film”. More eminent Bollywood stars join in the chorus.

>> Fans flock to the small town of Sathyavedu, 30 KM from Red Hills, as it’s the closest destination for Chennai fans to catch the film in Tamil.

Feb 2^nd – Kamal Haasan returns to Chennai from Mumbai. Heavy police presence at the airport.

>> Muslim leaders feel it is appropriate for Kamal Haasan to be present in person for the discussions.

>> At around 8 PM, Kamal addresses the press, says issue has been resolved. Agrees to remove ‘objectionable’ material and add a disclaimer slide at the beginning. Says he will re-send it to the CBFC for certification. Assures to release the film as early as possible.

>> Kamal Haasan says he will withdraw the petition from the High Court, thanks the CM for her intervention. Muslim group leaders also oblige to end their protests as well as their legal battle regarding this issue.

Feb 3^rd -Vishwaroopam does brisk business in U.S and U.K markets even in the second weekend.

Feb 4^th – TN Government officially lifts ban imposed on Vishwaroopam.

>> Kamal Haasan announces the new release date as February 7^th for Tamil Nadu. Says he is moved by the support showered from all quarters.
