The director of such classics as Azhagi, Thangar Bachan is back with Ammavin Kaipesi - the cinematic adaptation of his novel of the same name. Shanthnu and Revathy play lead roles as son and mother and the story revolves around their relationship.
The movie has had very little pre-release buzz and hence could only manage below average opening.
The overdose of melodrama could harm the movie’s potential at the box office. Iniya has done a decent job.
