Nobody ever thought the bashful Jayam Ravi would strip down to his loin cloth for a movie that cast him as a forest officer, on a mission in the jungles of Andhra to eradicate terrorists. With that he shattered the myth that he was born to play the chocolate boy-next-door roles. Director Jananathan also touched upon the socially sensitive issue of untouchability in the movie.
