GV Prakash had to showcase the other side of him as this movie demanded a different array of songs. And he called everyone to sing in his album: from the legendary MS Viswanathan to Andrea Jeremiah and Vikram. But his carefully chosen percussions and other instruments were enough to shore up the ‘period’ feel of this film. Songs which are etched in memory are Aaruyire and Pookal Pookum.
