An album devoted to gentle romance, Kanimozhi was liked by people for the fact that the music was tidy and uncluttered. Sathish Chakravarthy's creativity comes to the fore in a couple of songs. The song Muzhumadhi and Thada Thada were testimony to the music director's abilities. Kanimozhi did capture hearts as an album.
