A neat remake of the Hindi movie ‘A Wednesday’, this film saw the entry of Shruti Haasan as music composer. Not a bad effort at all for a first-timer, especially where the background score was concerned. The songs were taut but Kamal’s abstruse lyrics took away the initial interest in the album.
