Mani Sharma’s telugu ‘mettus’ and some robust dancing by Dhanush contributed to the warmth of the songs. In fact, the masala numbers ‘Raanki Rangamma’ and ‘Hey Vetri Velaa’ overtook the subtler ‘Kadavulum Kaadalum’ which had dreamy lyrics. The film itself did garner some attention.
