This is surprising and predictable at the same time. As mentioned earlier, anyone connected to the film fraternity in some way or the other aspiring to be an actor or a director is quite commonplace. But, Premji is a bit different because he comes from a musical family, was a musician to start with but then found that his real calling lies in comedy, thanks to his director brother Venkat Prabhu. But, Premji’s foray into comedy too is not a huge surprise because over the years we have had many samples of Gangai Amaran’s whacky sense of humor. But music, direction and comedy from the same family are a rare combination.
