This movie addressed a lot of issues - traffic rules not being followed, unhelpful and uncaring citizens, corrupt officials and also middle class people who work their way up giving bribes and not following the rules. Shocked by these atrocities, an honest lawyer Ambi (Vikram) turns into a split personality and through the Anniyan (Vikram) in him goes about violently punishing the evil people.
