A brutal depiction of the plight of inhabitants of the streets. Bala minced no shots in bringing out the raw reality with an intensity that nearly disturbed the viewer. Many of the shots seemed like real ones filmed from streets, junction and bus stands without the knowledge of the public. Almost all the troubles and agonies that a disabled beggar faces in daily life have been chronicled with great impact within a 3 minute song – right from the difficulties in getting up to move to the struggle they have to go through to put a morsel of food into their mouths. Disturbing, brutal but brilliant.
