If Dhanush shot to fame with Thulluvadho Ilamai, so did Sherin. She made the character work so well that it is not easy to forget. Jaya and Student Number 1 followed where she was just there for the romantic numbers. Though her role in Whistle was critically acclaimed, she was almost forgotten by the Tamil audience even as she did a role in Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi. After a gap of four years, she acted in Urchagam which did not reach the audience at all. She then appeared in an item number in Bheema. She has her hopes pinned in Poova Thalaiya which is currently in production.
