If Anbe Aaruyire was a decent hit, it was partly due to the chemistry between SJ Suryah and the heroine Nila. She was the eye-candy and Suryah did enough to promote her as a household name. But her choices of films like Jambhavan, Lee and Jaganmohini did not propel her to greater success. Though Marudhamalai was a reasonable hit, it was mainly due to Arjun and Vadivelu. People have certainly forgotten Nila so have producers and directors as she currently has no projects in Tamil.
