Listening to all his fans is a tough job, considering the huge number. But, Rajinikanth has a unique way of knowing what his fans want out of him. He finds time for this when he is at the Raghavendra hall in Chennai. It is the usual practice of his fans to make phone calls to the office and tell their wishes and requests to anyone who picks up the phone. It is said that an intercom from this line is linked to a room which Rajini uses whenever he is at the hall. He silently listens to them talk whenever he gets time and a few lucky fans sometimes get a response straight from the Superstar himself.
