Boys was a marked departure for both Shankar and A.R.Rahman. They decided to go all out to woo the youth and Rahman came up with a rocking album which had songs that charmed the youth totally. Even today, these songs might find a place in the Ipods and Iphones of the youth. ‘Enakkoru Girlfriend’, ‘Ale Ale’, ‘Maaro Maaro’ and ‘Sare GaMe’ were chartbusters like none other.
