STR was to team up with KV Anand for Ko and the project was in its pre production stage when STR opted out. Reportedly, STR was not happy with new face Karthika being cast as his heroine. The director refused to change his mind about the heroine and they parted as friends. Jiiva filled into STR shoes and the movie is set to release soon.
