The combination that gave us two of the biggest hits- Shivaji and Enthiran, were to team up much before for Shankar offered Mudhalvan to Rajinikanth first. Due to some reason (we are guessing the political plot of the film), the Superstar could not accept the movie. Rajini's loss was Arjun's gain and the movie became a huge hit. How we wish we could have seen Rajinikanth as the CM for a day which might have given him another title of 'Mudhalva'.
