Ratnavel’s (Nithin Sathya) cup runneth over where affliction is concerned as he is cursed with more than his fair share. We are told that not only is he impotent and a recovering alcoholic but a psychotic sadist as well with definite murderous and suicidal tendencies. It is a thankless character and even if the hero manages to feel some sympathy for Ratnavel the audience doesn’t.
