One of Ilaiyaraja’s classic numbers, Pon Maalai Pozhuthu for the film Nizhalgal sung by the inimitable SP Balasubramaniam, has been brought back into the collective consciousness thanks to a recently launched film which has been named after it. The film can be expected to release sometime soon.
