But a film’s success is also dictated by various other factors like story, screenplay, direction etc for which the star is not responsible. Note: The two pillars of the Tamil film industry have been excluded because they are above the normal competition.

The huge expectations of Ajith featuring in the remake of a Superstar blockbuster, the swank stills contributed towards the huge initial collections.
