A scrawny youngster made his debut in a film called Thulluvadho Ilamai which almost did not see the light of day as it was plagued by controversy and other issues. But it made it to the big screen and surprised viewers with its sensitivity and angst about troubled youngsters. Dhanush went on to become a household name and his wiry build would later earn him the moniker “Indian Bruce Lee”.
