Krishnan (Rajinikanth) and Shanthidevi (Vijayashanthi) were not typical lovers to say the least. There would be no tender hand holding or long walks in the rain as they were far more likely to go for each other’s throats. While it was true they spent practically the entire film fighting for the upper hand both personally and professionally it was also true that despite everything, they had respect for each other and always had each other’s backs. Plus, they set the screen on fire with their scorching chemistry.
