Shankar – Endhiran controversy
For its mammoth budget and the presence of
the crème de la crème of the
Tamil film industry, Endhiran has already
garnered enough press attention. As if it’s
not enough, the movie was in news recently
when two fraudsters were caught trying to
sell the movie’s Telugu distribution
rights. They even managed to pull off 2 crores
out of the transaction. Sun Pictures promptly
intervened and with the help of police, the
culprits were nailed. Sun also clarified that
Endhiran’s other language rights are
still with the company.
