Kamal Haasan and Kalaipuli S Dhanu apparently had some irreconcilable differences while working on Aalavandhan. Apparently the cold vibes between the two persist to this day. Though not confirmed, there were allegations that Dhanu threw a monkey wrench into Kamal’s plans to release Unnaipol Oruvan by booking leading cinema halls in Tamil Nadu for his Kanthasamy.
