After assisting PC for movies like Gopura Vaasalile, Meera, Devar Magan and Thiruda Thiruda, KV Anand got his break when PC introduced him to director Priyadarshan. KV’s first movie as a cinematographer Thenmavin Kombathu fetched him a National Award for best cinematography. There has been no stopping KV after that. He has done a variety of movies in Hindi and Malayalam apart from Tamil. His work in movies like Kaadhal Desam, Mudhalvan, Chellamae and Sivaji the Boss has been widely appreciated. After striking gold with his directorial venture Ayan, KV Anand is currently directing KO which has Jiiva in the lead.
