The unsolved serial killings of pavement dwellers in Mumbai, in the early 1980s were taken up as the plot for this under-rated thriller. It had all the ingredients to make a hit, if only for the unnecessary item number inclusion and the predictable climax to a brilliant twist just prior to its finale was a bummer. But the eeriness it achieved in its showcasing was enough to get it inside the coveted ten.
