Music Director: Ghibran

Debutants have a wonderful way of surprising us. This looked like the score of a very experienced composer! Some of the best melodies of the year came from this album, including the delightful ‘Saara Kaathu’ and the very different sounding ‘Poraaney’. The ‘Saara Kaathu’ song also gave a new dimension to Chinmayee’s voice and the album also brought out some wonderful lyrics from Vairamuthu. Really, a wonderfully promising composer.
