Wonder where this young man gets such amazing variety from! He straddles all kinds of music with ease. Aadukalam was the perfect example of his versatility. The raw rural earthiness he brought out in ‘Otha Sollala’ was too infectious. No doubt, the tune played a big part in inspiring Dinesh to come up with those National Award winning moves. But, in the same film, he also brought the very contemporary sounding ‘Yathe Yathe’. A mellifluous melody in SPB’s voice in ‘Ayyayyo’ was the pick of the connoisseurs and finally he also managed to bring rap into the Madurai setting. It was an all round album that kept you guessing about what was coming next.
