the best actresses of our times have just one
or two movies to show off as their acting certificates.
No wonder heroines are called arm candies or beauty
spots of cinema. Looking good, talking cute and
shaking a leg are all that is required of a heroine
in most movies; their only connection to the main
plot being their relationship with the hero. We
are not asking for heroine centric themes every
weekend, just a bit more space for them in the
script, more carefully etched roles, not just
