a Deepavali marred by rain and thunder showers,
the movies couldn’t do too well. It
was between Vijay’s Sivakasi and Vikram’s
Maja, a repeat of the 2003 clash. After
losing a good portion of their collections
to rain, Sivakasi managed to get the better
of Maja, only marginally though. However,
a third person proved to be the dark horse.
Cheran’s Thavamai Thavamirindhu winning
accolades from all quarters. |
