Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone was last seen in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed 2018 Historical fiction 'Padmaavat'. The actor will be next seen in 'Raazi' director Meghna Gulzar's next film, Chhapaak.
Based on the incredible life story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal, the makers have launched the first look poster of the film. The poster contains Deepika Padukone's makeover as the acid attack survivor. The first look was praised by many celebrities across social media for portraying an important induvidual.
'Chhapaak' also stars Vikrant Massey and the film is set to release on January 2020. The film's music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy with Michael Luka handling the cinematography and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
