The shoot hasn’t begun yet, but the producers of Jilla are pretty sure about the release date. The shoot will go on floors in May and the makers are looking to release it  for Pongal, 2014.

The film will be directed by Nesan and stars Mohan Lal, Kajal Aggarwal, Parotta Soori and Mahat Raghavendra in the central roles. Imman will be doing the music and RB Choudary will be producing the film under his banner, Super Good Films.

Meanwhile, Vijay will be flying to Australia soon for the final schedule of Thalaivaa that will begin on March 20^th.
