Muslim leaders request Kamal's participation

Kamal Haasan returned to Chennai this morning amidst heavy police protection at the Chennai airport. He stopped to answer a few questions from the press and said that he was thrilled with the response the film has got in the North for the Hindi version.

The latest developments regarding the ongoing controversy is that the representatives of the Muslim organizations have requested Kamal Haasan’s presence in their discussions. They feel that the participation of the director would be apt and will expedite the proceedings of the discussions. An official announcement of the time and place of the discussion is expected shortly.
