From Manmadha Rasa to repeated sister roles
Mar 04, 2013We had reported earlier that 'Manmadha Rasa' fame Chaya Singh would be seen as the elder sister of Udhayanidhi Stalin in the movie Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal, directed by S.R.Prabhakaran. Her character would have comic shades and it would mark her comeback to film acting post her marriage.
She expects to act only in substantial roles from now but agrees that she would be offered more of only sister roles in the future, given her marital status. In the upcoming movie Valiban as well, she would be playing a sister’s role, one who helps her younger brother in his love.
She would meanwhile continue acting in the small screen as well and plans to take up direction in the next year.
