There have been rumours around the town saying Dhanush’s production venture, Ethir Neechal has been bought by Sun Pictures. But the director of the film, Durai Senthilkumar has clarified it as untrue. He has also hinted that another buyer has approached the producer to get hold of the rights. However, Durai doesn’t want to reveal the name of the buyer until the transaction is complete.

The film stars Siva Karthikeyan, Priya Anand and Nandita in central roles. Producer Dhanush and Nayanthara have made cameo appearances in the film through a ‘Kuthu’ number. Anirudh’s music, Velraj’s cinematography and Noor Azwan’s editing make the film complete.
