'Go stand outside the cinema hall'

There has been widespread support for Kamal Haasan following the ban on Vishwaroopam in Tamil Nadu. Bollywood stars have also extended their support for the actor. Salman Khan requested his fans as well as Kamal's to fully support Kamal. He himself was keen to see the movie and added, "Go stand outside the cinema hall and insist on seeing the movie...What law and order problem on a movie?"


Farhan Akhtar, director/producer/actor/ singer wanted to know why a film cleared by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had been banned. He said that if the decision of the Censors could not be upheld, he did not see why film makers should be subjected to this process. Abhishek Bachchan said it was upto the audience whether they wished to buy tickets or not and there was no need for a ban.


Director Mahesh Bhatt was vociferous in his support and urged the film fraternity to come forward and support Kamal Haasan. Karan Johar, Anupam Kher, Reema Kagti have also voiced their support for Kamal.
