The business of movie making is no less than gambling. No matter how hard the director tries to impress his audience, at the end of the day it's not necessarily the quality of the movie that decides its fate. So, it's only natural that actors / directors wallow in a little bit of superstition and sentiments. Predominant of them being the pairing of actors. Here is a list of successful pairing in the recent past that is poised to repeat.

Trisha and Jayam Ravi made a dreamy pair in Unakkum Enakkum and are all set to repeat the act with Boologam.

Nayanthara made a comeback of sorts with Arya in Boss Engira Bhaskaran and is already acting with him in the untitled Ajith - Vishnuvardhan project.

Amy Jackson was cast alongside Vikram in Thaandavam and has seen herself committing for another project with Vikram for the Shankar directed I.

Anushka was Suriya's lucky mascot in Singam and the sequel will have her too opposite Suriya.

Anushka repeats her hit history with brother Karthi as well - after making a cameo of sorts with Saguni, she is the full fledged heroine of Alex Pandian.

Kajal Aggarwal and Karthi made a hit movie with Naan Mahaan Alla and are speculated to be cast together in All in All Azhagu Raja.

Hansika and Dhanush were quite a pair in Mappillai and it looks like they might repeat the act in Sottavaazhakutty.
