Here
comes one for the youth, a genre
that is not really explored
very often in Kollywood. From
what it looks like, Thiru Thiru
Thuru Thuru (T4) must be a rom-com
(romantic comedy). If one remembers
right, the last movie to come
out in this genre was the light
hearted SMS which received its
share of support. T4 is special
because it comes from a lady
director, Nandini, a rare sight
in Tamil cinema. And what makes
it even more interesting is
that she has apprenticed with
another successful lady director,
Priya of Kanda Naal Mudhal and
Kannamoochi Enada fame. Now,
we know that T4 comes from a
school of film making that has
found its bearings in making
light hearted romances for the
youth.
T4 marks the debut of Sathyam
Cinemas in film production.
That is another point of similarity
that the movie shares with SMS
which had marked the entry of
Vikatan Talkies into production.
