young men, 18, 25 and 30 years
of age- their lives, their dreams,
their love…. That is what
Saa Boo Three is all about.
The only romantic Diwali release,
it will face an uphill task
of garnering attention in the
face of big competition. But,
one thing that goes in its favor
is that it is one flick that
is aimed completely at the youth.
A romantic comedy is what the
crew prefers to call it.
It has in its place equal measure
of both romance and comedy,
says debutante director Arshad
Khan. He has previously been
an assistant director for films
such as Manathodu Mazhaikkalam
and Yaavarum Nalam, besides
having made many ad films. Arshad
also makes his acting debut
with the film. Apart from Arshad,
a familiar face, TV actor Prajan
makes his big screen debut.
New faces Akshay and Rishwanth
also are part of the cast.
The women too are relatively
fresh. Mithuna, Sara, Asha,
Ujjaini and Pinki form the female
cast of Saa Boo Three. The name
Ujjaini might sound familiar.
Yes, she is the playback singer
making her acting debut.
