An
upcoming Indian Tamil romantic drama film
‘Pathinaaru’ has Shiva and Madhu
Shalini in the lead. It’s written
and directed by Sabapathy Dekshinamurthy
whose earlier venture in 2009 was A Aa E
Ee. Kalaipuli S. Thanu has bought the distribution
rights to release the film under his V.
Creations banner. It is a debut venture
of A Shiva shankar’s production house,
Passion Movie Makers.

the lead cast in Chennai 600028 followed by Saroja plays
the lead with model turned telugu actress Madhu Shalini
who debuted in Tamil through Pazhaniappa kalloori.
Darbuka Siva, a percussionist in various bands and a
radio jockey who worked with Shiva dons an important
role. Kasthuri, popular South Indian heroine of the
1990s, television artist Abhishek, Velu prabhakaran,
KishoreKumar and ‘Angadi Theru’ Pandi play
pivotal roles.
The storyline captures the romantic sequences between
Shiva a happily roaming guy and Madhu. The scenes have
traversed across the East Coast Road and various other
places in Chennai, Ooty and Kodaikanal. This though
a low budget movie with a relatively new cost suffered
caught in development and post-production backlogs.
However, noted film producer and distributor Kalaipuli
S. Thanu, after watching a preview screening of the
film, decided to take over the film's theatrical rights
and distribute it under his V. Creations banner.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has joined hands with director Sabapathy
again after Punnagai Poove for the film's background
score and soundtrack. Notably, Yuvan Shankar worked
for this film without receiving any remuneration considering
the film’s budget. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s
music is a great strength to this film. The songs have
been received well. Yuvan Shankar Raja made his brother
Karthik Raja sing a song which runs through a flashback.
This is his first solo song under Yuvan Shankar's direction.
Pathinaaru true to the name is a story that touches
the profound love between the young lead pair. Come
28 january, we will know how far Shiva and Madhu’s
chemistry on screen embraces the sweet sixteens and
the young hearts to create a magical charm as the youthful
music by Yuvan. |
